Broad blotch Drill or Orange spot Daisy Moth - Dichrorampha alpinana A micro moth species from the family of Tortricidae , sub family Olethreutinae. The moth has a wingspan of 14 mm. It inhabits rich grassland, especially where Oxeye Daisy is present. The moths can be found on the wing between June and August. The moths fly, often during the daytime, The species' life history is the larvae feed on Oxeye Daisy among the roots. It is found locally over much of the British Isles and occurs in grassy meadows and rough pasture. This species is classified as local.
