Marbled Bell - Eucosma campoliliana.

Marbled Bell - Eucosma campoliliana. A micro moth species from the family of Tortricidae. Sub family Olethreutinae . The moth has a wingspan of 13 to 18 mm. Quite distinctive with its black and brown markings on a white background, and white head. This moth is on the wing in June and July, from evening onwards, and is attracted to light. Its habitat is It prefers dry locations. The species’ life history is Larval feeds on the seeds and stems of Ragwort. Records come from most areas of Britain. The species is classified as common in the UK.
