Iā€™m amateur Lepidopterist, I trap and record moth species on my six acre wildlife meadow at Tibenham Norfolk, UK.

Powdered Quaker - Orthosia gracilis.

Powdered Quaker - Orthosia gracilis. A macro moth species from the family of Noctuidae subfamily Hadeninae. A quite variable species in colouration, but the row of dots between the kidney mark and the outer cross-line helps with identification. the larvae often feed on Willow and the moth tends to be paler and less variable. The moth has a wingspan of 35 to 40 mm. The moth as one generation from April to May. The moth's habitat varies especially where food plants are present. The larva foodplants are Sallow catkins and Blackthorn flowers. The moth is classified nationally as a common species in the UK.
