Marbled White Spot - Protodeltote pygarga. The moth has a wingspan of 20 to 22 mm. The moth as generation from May to July. The moth's habitat favours acid heaths and damp woodland habitats. The caterpillars feed during the autumn on several types of grass, including Purple Moor-grass. The moth is widespread and classified nationally as a common species of the UK.
