Marbled Brown - Drymonia dodonaea. A macro moth species from the family of Notodontidae subfamily Notodontinae. The moth has a wingspan of 33 to 38 mm. The moth as generations from May to July. The moth’s habitat favours mature oak woodland where it can be common. Away from deciduous woodland, the moth is uncommon. The caterpillar feeds on the leaves of oak The moth is widespread and classified nationally as a local species of the UK.
