Least Yellow Underwing - Noctua interjecta. A macro moth species from the family of Noctuidae sub family Noctuinae. A relatively small Noctua, with a rich reddish-brown upper wing. The moth has a Wingspan of 31 to 36 mm. The moth as one generation from July to August. The Occurs in a wide range of habitats. The larvae feed on grasses and other herbaceous plants, and overwinter. The moth is widespread classified nationally as a common species of the UK.
