Dwarf Cream Wave - Idaea fuscovenosa

Dwarf Cream Wave - Idaea fuscovenosa A macro moth species from the family of Geometridae , sub family Sterrhinae. The moth has a wingspan of Wingspan 19 to 22 mm. A very delicate looking pale cream moth it is distinctive with a narrow, dark costal streak. The dark spots on the wings are also usually prominent in this species. Its favours habitats are open areas of woodland, parks and gardens and other weedy places. The moths can be found on the wing in June and July. The species' life history is Single brooded species. The larvae feed on low-lying plants such as dandelion and moss. UK Status for this species it is Commonly Distributed throughout much of England, this species is frequent in some places in the south but becomes scarcer further north. This species is classified as local.
