Common White Wave - Cabera pusaria

Common White Wave---- Cabera pusaria.

The moth is from the family of Geometridae – subfamily ---- Ennominae.

It Is a small-sized macro moth, with a wingspan of 25 to 28mm.

The moth as two generations and its flight season is from late May to June and July to August.

The moth's habitat is mainly an assortment of woodland, copses and similar habitats.

It overwinters as a pupa amongst plant debris or close to the surface in soil.

The Larva appears from late June to October, often found in a wide range of sizes.

The species feed on a wide range of trees and shrubs, especially Birch.

The moth is classed as common and well distributed throughout the UK,
