Iā€™m amateur Lepidopterist, I trap and record moth species on my six acre wildlife meadow at Tibenham Norfolk, UK.

Clouded Border - Lomaspilis marginata.

The moth is from the family of Geometridae, subfamily Ennominae.

The moth is a medium-sized macro moth, with a wingspan of 30 to 38 mm.

The moth as one generation and its flight season is from May to July.

The moth's habitat is woodland and moist localities.

It overwinters as a pupa underground.

The Larva appears from July to mid-September,

The larvae feed on willows and Poplars, especially Aspen.

The species is classed as a common species throughout the UK.
