Iā€™m amateur Lepidopterist, I trap and record moth species on my six acre wildlife meadow at Tibenham Norfolk, UK.

Brown-line Bright Eye, Mythimna conigera.

The moth is from the family of Noctuidae, sub family : Hadeninae.

It Is a medium sized macro moth, with a wingspan of 30 to 35 mm.

The moth as one generation and its flight season is from June to August, from dusk, when they will visit various flowers.

The moth's habitat is mainly, consists of a wide range of grasslands, woodland fringes and roadside verges and gardens in urban areas.

The lava appear in August to May overwinters as a small lava, low down in vegetation feeding at night.

Pupates in a underground cocoon.

The moth is a resident common species throughout most of the UK
