Iām amateur Lepidopterist, I trap and record moth species on my six acre wildlife meadow at Tibenham Norfolk, UK.

The moth Is from the family of Erebidae, subfamily, Boletobiinae.

The moth is a small macro species with a wingspan of 23 to 27 mm.
The moth is a single-brooded species on the wing from June to August.
Its habitat is mainly woodland, parks, gardens and orchards. It overwinters as a small larva. The larva appears from August or September to late-May, Most active at night.
Pupates in a tough cocoon, formed on a twig or branch.
The larvae feed on lichens which grow on the bark of a variety of deciduous and coniferous trees.
The species is classified as a local species of the UK.
