Light Brocade - Lacanobia w-latinum A macro moth species from the family of Noctuidae, sub family Hadeninae. The moth has a wingspan of 37 to 42 mm. Its favoured habitats show a preference for calcareous soils, where it occupies rough ground and heathland. The moth can be found on the wing in May and June, sometimes into July. And has a single generation. The species' life history is a few plants are used by the larvae as foodplants, including Broom and Dyer's Greenweed. Locally distributed, mainly in the southern half of Britain. and is classified as local.
