Iām amateur Lepidopterist, I trap and record moth species on my six acre wildlife meadow at Tibenham Norfolk, UK.

Common Carpet ---- Epirrhoe alternata.
The moth is from the family of Geometridae, subfamily Larentiinae.
It Is a small-sized macro moth, with a wingspan of 20 to 25 mm.
The moth as two generations and its flight season is from May to June and July to September.
The moth has a wide range of habitats and is easily disturbed in the daytime.
It overwinters as a Larva,
The Larva appears from June or July to April.
The species feeds on Cleavers, Hedge and other Bedstraws.
The moth is a common resident of the UK.
